Neel Veterinary Hospital is now hiring for a full-time Veterinary Assistant/Technician to join our team!
We are a fast paced, full-service 24/7 veterinary hospital looking for Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) or experienced Veterinary Assistants to add to our team.
The ideal candidate will be assigned to our ER/Urgent Care area with 2 or 3 shifts during the week and 1 shift on either Saturday or Sunday.
Must be willing to work various shifts including daytime and swing.
Must be willing to provide best patient care in a progressive, state-of-the-art, technology driven facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Medication administration.
- Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture.
- Patient handling and restraint.
- Perform diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal testing.
- Assisting our veterinarians as needed.
- Client communication and education.
- Provide care to hospitalized patients.
- Admitting and discharging patients.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
- Capable and confident in IV placement, blood draws, CPR and other skills associated with emergency and critical care.
- Efficient and client service oriented.
- Must be willing to work either Saturdays or Sundays.
